Swim-a-thon party raises money for Isis Initiative, Inc.
A swim-a-thon birthday party January 31 in Corvallis, Oregon raised $435 for Isis Initiative. Elizabeth Budd celebrated her 55th birthday, asking guests to forego gifts and donate instead to WE Initiative, formerly Isis Initiative.
Founder and President Cheryl Hatch swam 3,435 yards, or 68.7 laps, at the party, motivated by generous pledges of $1 and $2 per lap.
We thank Elizabeth's guests and Cheryl's sponsors for their generosity.
